Build trust
Be truthful about who you are, what you need, and what you can offer. Do not impersonate others, misrepresent a situation, or use the community to deceive people.
Treat people with dignity
Harassment, threats, stalking, hate-based abuse, sexual harassment, bullying, and intimidation are not allowed.
Keep help safe
Do not request or offer illegal, dangerous, exploitative, or clearly unsafe activity. Use good judgment before meeting in person, entering a home, transporting someone, handling money, or using tools and equipment.
No scams or spam
Do not use The Bigger Table for fraudulent fundraising, deceptive sales, unsolicited promotion, phishing, or repeated irrelevant posts.
Protect privacy
Do not publish another person's private address, phone number, financial information, medical information, or other sensitive information without permission.
Report concerns
Use the report and block tools when something appears unsafe or violates these guidelines. Reports may lead to content removal, account restrictions, or other moderation action.
